Maybe you didn’t see any problems from using mobile phones in modern society earlier. And our article will give you some new aspects of the cellular phone use.
You will expectedly agree that nowadays we hardly can imagine our life without a cellular phone. They are used by millions of people irrespective of their trades, age or styles. We don’t want to refuse from such a modern comfortable service as a mobile communication. We find the mobile phone an inseparable part of our image and being. All of us choose the handsets according to our personal tastes and needs. But recently the term “mobile phone abuse” has arisen. You may ask, what we mean. So, let’s think over the next situation. Say, you are now somewhere in a public sight. You are attempting to focus your attention to understand something important for you. Or maybe you are conducting some significant conversation with a very important person. And suddenly a chap sitting not far from you starts chatting over his Mobile Phone, and he speaks quite loudly; or he just has decided to listen to his Mobile Rings (well, just to have some fun). Because of this interruption you miss the point of your conversation or forget about your recent speculations. As you see, somebody’s call has disturbed you. Thus you have suffered right from the “mobile phone abuse”. And we can state that Mobile Communication is not always a convenience, but sometimes it produces a harmful influence.
We suppose you to agree that an excessive use of a mobile phone in a public sight is really thoughtless, irritating and ill-mannered thing. The main purpose of the handset is to provide permanent connection between other people and you. But it is not to be used as a toy, indeed. Usually people asked to speak not so loudly reveal real anger. They utter their call is very important. Maybe, but there is no obvious need to make all the people around to be your interlocutors or listeners, how do you think? Otherwise chatting over the phone becomes a bad habit, in other words – an abuse.
If you still do not think you are influenced by the mobile phones, look through the next “symptoms”: Hearing a phone ringing somewhere or somebody talking over the phone you
- can’t collect your mind;
- feel strong irritation or lose self-possession;
- feel angry with too loud or annoying ringtones;
- hope the conversation will end as fast as it is possible;
- wish the speaker would instantly disappear;
- wish the handset battery life would end in a while.
So, you see, the problem really exists and it is not so easy to solve. But if all of us try to be polite with each other and respect other men, the situation will change for better. Don’t forget that you live in a society; don’t be selfish and discourteous against the members of this society. And you will feel that it is really great to make people smile, but not frown angrily!
