One of the celebrated activity of the early nineties was well-known Enigma enterprice. The thought of creation of this band belongs to Michael Cretu, who is composer and at the same moment production director of this activity and you can come across here his Love ones.
Enigma's (from Greek matterspuzzle) being commenced since the work of their first collection of songs "MCMXC A.D." on December, 1990. Due to the confluence of the Gregorian songs, hypnotic tune with Dancing rhythms, magnificent application of samples, memorable video clips, the group Enigma became incontinently at the centre of the public notice. Cretu contrived this melodious group as something inconceivable when nobody must recognize performers but can listen only to their songs and voices.
Their novel collection of songs came into the world on December, 1993, called "The Cross of Changes". Though this collection of songs lost its worshippers owing to the unrecognizable tunes of the Gregorian tunes and flute tunes, it obtained excellent d?nouement and became gold and even platinum in many countries.
In three years Enigma's following piece of work "Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!" (from French "The King is dead, long live the King!") came into the world. This collection of songs was believed to show just best sides of the previous albums and grounded on by this time existing tunes and style. But fail! The third album wasn't such successful as its forerunner. Just two singles from this album were released.
Afterwards three years of preparation "The Screen Behind the Mirror" was released. As the foundation of this release the melodious topic from opera "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff was consumed. The celebrated singles from this release became "Gravity of Love" and "Push the Limits".
Cretu's novel work single "Turn around" and two more collections "Love Sensuality Devotion: The Greatest Hits" and "Love Sensuality Devotion: The Remix Collection" finished the first chapter of the project well-known as Enigma.
Their following album "Voyageur" modified ordinary Enigma's mode. There was no flute, no Gregorian melodies, but justinterweaving of music and voice. It was a novel step in advance of this group.
Enigma's single "Hello and welcome" which was suggested to be released on October, 2005, was effected just on March 10, 2006. This single was written in the novel mode and wasn't as previous ones.
The next release "A Posteriori" (September 26, 2006), includeschiefly techno- and popular electronic music that makes it different from other Enigma's albums. The main suggestions were got from such sciences as astronomy, physics, history, sociology.
The seventh release "Seven Lives, Many Faces" (September 19, 2008) preserved the tune of two first albums with use of samples and ethnic melodies.
According to the contract of this group with "Virgin Records" Michael Cretu should create in total 8 albums - 1 release every three year. So we are awaiting for Enigma's last work in 2012.
